This is a #throwback post to Sept 2012 from my old blog.
I was reminded of the time I dyed my hair 'red' to play Napoleon Phang, a rough triad-looking fella but has a love for making cakes.
This series was lovingly made by the people behind Fried Chillies, a website solving our makan problems since 1997.
Do you think I rocked the red hair look?
Here's a reposting -
Earlier this year (2012), I had the privilege of being casted as ’Napoleon’ in “I Eat KL”, produced by Fried Chillies. :-)
Today, I just had another privilege of watching the entire pilot episode + bits & pieces of the entire series and I was blown away! The writing is solid comedy. The editing, feel & look of the series is very strong and for Fried Chillies first foray into tackling a series, it’s honestly very well done! Super hugs go out to Directors Eunice Lau & Atom plus Producers from Fried Chillies : Honey Ahmad & Adly Rizal!
The series has an amazing cast too, they aren’t just names, they act their butts off on-screen and it shows!
A big hearty congratulations to the 3 leading ladies Nadia Aqilah, Chelsia Ng and Dawn Cheong. Also featuring a strong cast such as Bront Palarae, Tony Eusoff and Chew Kin Wah, just to name a few. Not forgetting the rest of us minions, (Kitchen crew: Ollie Johanan, Kimy, Juzzthin & myself) + other featured characters played by Gavin Yap, Khairil M.Bahar, Craig Fong and many, many others.
